What We Believe

GOD

There is one God: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; One God existing in three Persons.
The Father initiates all things: creation, salvation, and divine revelation through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

 

JESUS

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin. Being fully God and Fully man, he lived a sinless life and became the atoning sacrifice for the sin of all men. Jesus was buried, rose from the grave, and ascended into heaven. He now sits at the right hand of God and will one day return to earth to set up the Kingdom of God.

HOLY SPIRIT

Holy Spirit is the divine helper, counselor to those who are a part of the Kingdom of God. The work of Holy Spirit is to reveal Christ, convict of sin, lead to repentance, guide believers, comfort, strengthen and sanctify the soul.

The Bible

The Bible is the inerrant Holy Word of God and the authority for the believer’s life.

CHURCH

The church is the local Body of Christ brought together for the worship of God, to be a reflection of Christ to the world, and to serve one another and those who are in the world.

SALVATION

Salvation is the gift of God received through repentance of sin and the confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Every person who is truly saved is eternally secure in Jesus Christ and will spend eternity in heaven. Those without Christ will spend eternity separated from God in Hell.

BAPTISM

Baptism, by immersion, is the outward display of what has taken place in the heart of a believer. It is the public profession and symbol of dying to ourselves and rising to a new life in Christ.
